Spooky costumes, visiting houses for tricks or treats, hosting and attending parties, enjoying delectable recipes ... the fun is endless. When it comes to kids' party, attractive food is the first preference. You can try out many creative recipes which your children will definitely enjoy.

Pumpkin Cupcakes


Ingredients
  • Pumpkin Puree, 2 cups
  • All-purpose Flour, 2½ cups
  • Eggs, 2
  • Baking powder, 2 tsp.
  • Unsalted Butter, (softened) 1 cup
  • Ground Nutmeg, ½ tsp.
  • Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp.
  • Kosher Salt, ½ tsp.
  • Allspice, ¼ tsp.
  • Ground Cinnamon, 1 tsp.
  • Ground Cloves, ¼ tsp.
Preparation
In a large bowl, sift the all-purpose flour, baking powder, allspice, ground spices, and Kosher salt. Blend the eggs, butter, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and brown sugar, till a smooth batter is formed. Add the flour mixture, while stirring it continuously.
Fill the batter in the cups and bake it in a preheated oven at 350°F for about half an hour. Transfer the cup cakes to a metal rack and let them cool down completely. Frost the cupcakes with cheese frosting.

Terrifying Tarnate Pie

Ingredients
  • Corn Muffin Mix, (plus ingredients) 1 package
  • Taco Flavored Cheese, (shredded ) 2 cups
  • Ground Turkey, ¾ lb.
  • Mexican Style Stewed Tomatoes, (undrained) 1 can
  • Red Bell Pepper, (chopped) ½ cup
  • Vegetable Oil, 3 tbsp.
  • Dried Oregano Leaves, ½ tsp.
  • Chili Beans, (undrained) 1 can
  • Garlic Clove, 2 to 3
  • Onion, (chopped) ½ cup
  • Chili Powder, ¼ tsp.
  • Corn, 1 cup
  • Black Pepper, ¼ tsp.
Preparation
Take a large skillet and heat the oil. Add the chopped onion and pepper, and cook till they turn tender. Add the garlic and cook for about a minute. Add the ground turkey and cook till the meat turns white. Add the tomatoes, beans, chili powder, black pepper, corn, and oregano, and allow the mixture to simmer for about 15 minutes.
Prepare the corn muffin mix according to the instructions given on the package. Add the cheese and blend thoroughly. Spread the turkey mixture on the casserole and top it with remaining cheese. Create a monster face out of the vegetables of your choice and bake it in a preheated oven at 375ºF for about 25 to 30 minutes.

Halloween Treats

Shortbread Fingers with Raspberry Blood

Ingredients
  • Flour, 2½ to 3 cups
  • Almond Meal, 1 cup
  • Sugar, 1 cup
  • Baking Powder, 1 tsp.
  • Eggs, 2
  • Whole Almonds, (blanched and halved) 1 cup
  • Softened Butter, 1 cup
  • Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp.
  • Raspberry or Strawberry Jam
  • Salt, ¼ tsp.
Preparation
Take a medium-sized bowl and beat the eggs, butter, vanilla extract, almond meal, and sugar together. Take a separate bowl and mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the sugar mixture to the flour mixture while continuously stirring it, so that lumps are not formed. Once the dough is formed, cover the bowl and refrigerate it for about an hour.
Divide the dough into four equal parts and with the help of a rolling pin, flatten them into finger shapes. Make knuckles out of small balls and stick them in the middle of the fingers. With the help of a knife, create slashes on the knuckles. The almonds can be pressed down to make nails.
Line these fingers on a greased baking tray and bake them at 320°F in a preheated over for about 25 to 30 minutes, till they turn light golden in color. Remove the tray from the oven and allow the fingers to cool down. Now smear the raspberry or strawberry jam on top to give it a 'bloody' look.

Yummy Caramel Corn


Ingredients
  • Popcorn, 3 quarts
  • Brown Sugar, 1 cup
  • Baking Soda, ½ tsp.
  • Butter, 3 to 4 tbsp.
  • Corn Syrup, ¼ cup
  • Salt, ¼ tsp.
Preparation
Take a saucepan and melt the butter. Now add the brown sugar, salt, baking soda, and corn syrup, and stir thoroughly. Take a large, heavy paper bag and put the popcorn in it. Pour the caramel mixture into the bag and stir it properly with the help of a wooden spoon.
Place this bag in the microwave and cook it on a high for about 2 minutes. Remove the bag and shake it well. Cook for about a minute more and remove it from the microwave. Transfer the contents to a large bowl.

Scary Eyeball Cookies


Ingredients
  • Peanut Butter, 2 cups
  • Confectioner's Sugar, 3½ cups
  • Vanilla Extract, 1½ tsp.
  • Shortening, 2 tbsp.
  • Brown Milk Chocolate, 20 pieces
  • Blue Milk Chocolate, 20 pieces
  • Softened Butter, 1 cup
  • White Candy Coating, (chopped) 12 oz.
  • Red Decorating Gel
Preparation
Take a medium-sized bowl and blend the peanut butter, vanilla extract and the softened butter together. Stir in the confectioner's sugar and make small balls. Place these balls in a refrigerator for about half an hour.
Melt the shortening and candy coating in the microwave and coat the peanut butter balls in this mixture. Place the brown and blue milk chocolates on the eyeballs. With the help of the red gel, give the eyeballs a 'bloodshot' effect.
