Too many plans for the day?

Wear comfortable clothing that can transition from Sunday church service to the Easter egg hunt and family gathering.
Every Easter Sunday, many Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Apart from attending a special service in church, many families engage in other activities such as decorating eggs, participating in the egg hunt, and/or celebrating the day with their family and friends at brunch.
Regardless of what your plans for the day are, it is essential that you and your family wear the proper attire. Depending on where you reside, be aware of the church's dress code as you don't want to offend anyone. Whether you choose to wear formal clothes, or are leaning towards a semi-formal appeal, we have a few options that might inspire you to stand apart in the crowd.

While choosing outfits for toddlers, pick outfits in soft pastel colors or light hues. And of course, this goes without saying, but fabrics that are light, thin, and loose should be preferred. Once the church service is over, they'll be heading out for the egg hunt; and you don't want them to become cranky when they're outside.
Pick adorable dresses for girls, and add accessories such as hats and sunglasses. For boys, a formal suit can be a good option. However, if you're looking for something a bit more casual, or even semi-formal, perhaps the images provided here may give you an idea.
Pick a dress with light fabric that isn't tight, flashy, or rough around the edges.
Girls
Choose pants or jeans that can be easily rolled up after the church service.

Easter Outfits for Preteens
We cannot stress this point enough―let them wear what they are most comfortable in. Although there are some families that wear jeans to church, that doesn't mean it should be the case with yours, or vice versa. Assist them while choosing their attire for the day, and emphasize on the fact that it's a celebratory occasion. Linen pants and floral skirts―these are classic items for both springtime and Easter.
Girls
Avoid prom-like dresses, and go straight for adorable girlie outfits with bows and ribbons.
Are these outfits adorable, or what? Any of these outfits will suit the little man perfectly.

Easter Outfits for Teenagers
Although you'll see a lot of teenage girls in skirts and dresses, you can choose to break a few rules by wearing elegant pants or trousers. But, make sure it isn't too flashy. Add a light shrug or jacket if the weather permits, and you'll be all set for the day. As for the teenage guys, do make it a point to keep your outfits somewhere between formal and semi-formal; don't even think about entering the church in jeans or shorts.
Printed or solid dresses and adorable skirts do make wonderful Easter outfits.
Girls
Don't be afraid to add a splash of color in your attire, or wear something stylish.

Easter Outfits for Adults
Easter rings in the beginning of springtime. This means, the warmer weather has its own set of trends that you can follow. For women, a beautiful dress or skirt can easily make an excellent attire. Of course, you'll require other clothing items and accessories to complete the look.

When adding accessories, add only a few pieces as you don't want to go overboard. Men, on the other hand, can easily pull off a formal or semi-formal look here. Pick a suit, or wear a sports jacket on well-fitting pants for the day; accessorize with hats, sunglasses, and shoes.
Wear a conservative dress that complements the season; and don't forget to accessorize.
Women
Wear a formal outfit that can transform into a semi-formal one for the rest of the day.

What Not to Wear for Easter

Although we talked mostly on what's the proper attire for Easter, there are a few clothing items that should be avoided at all costs before entering a church, or other places of worship. Don't wear mini-skirts, rompers, tank tops with jeans, leggings, off-the-shoulder and strapless dresses, and shorts.
Clothes that expose your midriff, thighs, or back, are too tight or too short should be strictly avoided. Also, when you enter the church, remove your shades and/or hat; wearing any of these items while anyone in authority speaks to you is considered disrespectful. Basically, avoid wearing any style that is offensive or opposes the church community's values.
Dressing for Easter is easier than it should be. Don't second guess your choices, and stick to the clothing you feel most comfortable in. Make it a point to look presentable, not just with your attire, but with your attitude and the way you carry yourself as well.
